Clearaudio Stroboscope Test Record is a tool for setting the optimal and accurate speed of your player. Setting the exact speed of the turntable’s support disk is one of the important parts of properly tuning and getting good sound without distortion. The Stroboscope Speed Test Record accurately measures the speed of an analog player in real time. Lower this device onto the turntable’s turntable. If the lines on the disc remain in place and do not move forward or backward, the speed on the player is set accurately.The stitch groove on the Stroboscope Test Record creates additional needle movement needed to accurately measure your player’s rotation speed in real time, and can also be used to break in new cartridges.

For best accuracy, use in conjunction with a Clearaudio Speed Light strobe.
