VTL IT-85 integrated amplifier is designed for users who seek the simplicity of an all-in-one system yet crave the performance of separate components. Featuring a fully active preamplifier stage and delivering a robust 60 watts per channel, IT-85 offers a sonic character akin to our acclaimed ST-85 stereo power amplifier and TL2.5 preamplifier combination—delivering fast, musical, three-dimensional sound alongside the solid, authoritative bass for which VTL is renowned.
IT-85 is an integrated amplifier combining a line-level preamplifier and a power amplifier; its line-stage section offers sufficient gain and buffered output to drive a subwoofer via the pre-out. The headphone amplifier section is driven by the power amplifier’s tube output stage and output transformers, making it an ideal, high-performance, all-tube headphone amplifier for enthusiasts.

IT-85 is designed with future upgrades in mind—when you’re ready to add a subwoofer, a separate preamp or power amplifier, a surround sound processor, or headphones to your system, IT-85’s multiple output stage configurations can be easily and conveniently reconfigured, often with just the flick of a switch. Extruded aluminum alloy front panel, available in silver (standard) or black, with protective cage. High-quality VTL ST-85 power supply assembly, output transformer, and power transformer. Easy-to-use independent output tube bias measurement and adjustment points on the top plate.
The tilted housing design facilitates the connection of input/output interfaces; the structure is robust and durable, and the workmanship is excellent.
