Audio Note (UK) ANKORU/II MONO is a Pure Class A parallel single-ended tube monoblock power amplifier; utilizing a pair of highly acclaimed 211 triode tubes per chassis, it delivers performance that far surpasses the vast majority of contemporary designs.
They employ a circuit design and topology similar to those of the legendary Audio Note (UK) GAKU-ON amplifier. However, whereas the GAKU-ON power amplifier utilizes silver wherever possible—such as in all transformer windings—the ANKORU/II uses copper.
They are designed specifically for sonic performance rather than technical specifications, and meet all Audio Note (UK) Level 3 standards:—
Pure Class A operation
Zero negative feedback
Single-ended output stage
Vacuum tube rectification
Directly heated triode operation
Quality of materials and parts
