VooDoo Infinity Digital power cord is specifically designed for digital signal source components and preamplifiers. In this power cord design, AC noise suppression is crucial for a quiet background, reproducing internal musical details, controlled micro-dynamics, and an opaque background for a refined sonic performance. Infinity Digital is constructed with cryogenically treated gold-plated copper telluride VooDoo PowerPhase IEC terminals and AC plugs. Each strand in the conductor layer is individually insulated with speed-matched Teflon dielectric insulators to suppress AC noise caused by micro-arcs within individual conductor strands. The Infinity Digital features a large-gauge copper braided shielding layer for 100% protection against intrusive EMI and RFI. All wires and terminals used in the manufacture of the Infinity undergo cryogenic treatment at -315°F (-192°C) using a custom cold-melt deep-dip process to structurally align and fuse the wires to achieve the optimal sonic performance of the conductive metal’s metallurgical molecular structure. To suppress electromagnetic interference, each conductor is insulated with Teflon dielectric and encased in a composite polyethylene secondary dielectric sheath to shield against invasive EMI. The power cord is wrapped with a double-layer abrasion-resistant mesh sleeve for maximum durability and optimal flexibility. Lengths range from 3 feet to 10 feet.
