In honor of Nikola Tesla, the Serbian-American engineer and scientist hailed as the father of communication, we are proud to present the fourth-generation VooDoo Tesla Powercord Air series. The Tesla Air is designed specifically for large, high-current power amplifiers and power conditioners. The Tesla Air is constructed using cryogenically treated, high-purity Cryo-Alloy™ conductors in #6 AWG geometry. The Tesla Air design incorporates a rigid busbar “sump” in the power cord, storing a significant amount of current in the form of line capacitance or “amperes” for sudden current demands during transient power peaks. It responds effortlessly at normal performance levels. The Tesla Air features a large-size copper braided shield for 100% protection against intrusive EMI and RFI. The entire power cord body is wrapped in an anti-static nylon mesh for maximum durability and optimal flexibility. The Tesla Air is terminated with PowerPhase™ rhodium, machined onto platinum-plated tellurium copper IEC terminals and AC plugs, with an aluminum shell insulated with carbon fiber laminate. All wires and terminals used in the manufacturing of the conductors are cryogenically treated at -315°F (-192°C) in our custom Cold Fusion™ deep-dip process to structurally align and fuse the metallurgical molecular structures of the conductive metals, resulting in optimal acoustic performance.
