Purist Audio Design’s Diamond Revision Neptune series is the pinnacle of our Fluid shielded cables! Every cable in the Neptune series utilizes our improved, patented Fluid Damping Technology. Fluid Damping Technology has been a favorite among audiophiles for years, delivering a warm tone and delicate midrange performance. The interconnects use 24 AWG single-crystal copper conductors. Compared to Venustas cables, Neptune cables offer a wider soundstage and reveal astonishing detail in the midrange! These cables deliver breathtaking musicality, allowing listeners to be completely immersed in the music! Digital cables are available with SPDIF (RCA or BNC) interfaces (75 Ω impedance) and AES/EBU (XLR) interfaces (110 Ω impedance). As part of Purist Audio Design’s Diamond Upgrade Program, we’ve redesigned and significantly improved the RCA connector, using beryllium copper and increasing the thickness of the gold plating. Additionally, we’ve also significantly improved the XLR connector, using beryllium copper and gold-plating the leads.
