AC Power Extension

Purist Audio Design is proud to introduce the upgraded AC power extension cord. This more compact device is now available with either 3 double plugs (for US plugs) or 6 DIN plugs (for European plugs). Its redesigned chassis is crafted from a special aluminum alloy. We’ve enhanced the chassis damping to effectively suppress mechanical vibrations. Purist employs unique passive filtering technology, protecting sound quality while avoiding the interference that some active filtering technologies can cause. Furthermore, we’ve used resonant tubes, tuned to 50 or 60 Hz depending on the usage in different countries/regions. The resonant tubes passively filter out noise generated when current flows through the sockets without limiting voltage or current. Simultaneously, it eliminates noise outside these frequency ranges. Its internal wiring utilizes the same technology as our high-end power cords. Our engineers have also carefully selected and matched Furutech sockets and IEC power input interfaces to meet our stringent specifications and the demanding needs of audiophiles.
