VooDoo-Hubbell IG8300 outperforms other receptacles in its class: the grounding terminal is completely isolated from the mounting strap and neutral circuit to eliminate ground-loop noise and electromagnetic interference. Internal circuitry, wiring, and blade contacts are made of heavy-gauge phosphor bronze—containing 95% solid copper—rather than plated brass. The receptacle body is constructed from injection-molded thermoplastic with a nylon face, offering high dielectric strength. This receptacle grips plug blades more tightly than any other audio-grade receptacle on the market. IG8300 undergoes our proprietary deep-immersion cryogenic treatment process.
