ACC 169 Revision 2 Articulation Control Console UPGRADE

The ACC 169.2 reference-grade speaker cables are now available in a completely new version, featuring fundamental improvements in sound quality. The metallization and insulation of the 169.2 cables have been enhanced. The addition of silver improves midrange and high-frequency performance. Upgraded circuitry fully utilizes this extra detail while effectively controlling waveform overshoot typically associated with silver. This results in better 3D soundstage positioning without any harsh distortion. To complement the improved midrange, the 169.2 employs a newly designed Acu-Bass inductor system. This system significantly extends the linear energy duration of the low frequencies, allowing the bass to sustain naturally and preventing premature decay. The result is a more powerful bass experience with a seamless transition to the midrange.

The ACC 169 and ACC 173BW are the first two in the three performance levels of the ACC series, suitable for any high-resolution loudspeaker with a wide dynamic range and powerful output. Their unique cabinet design allows for a large “music hose” to connect to the front of the cabinet or the dashboard, with the output cable exiting from a terminal block on the other end. This allows users to easily operate the unique ACC control functions for quick and precise setup. The cabinet contains 169 MIT (Made-In-Time) magnets, effectively preserving delicate and complex musical signals. Simultaneously, it stores and provides backup power to the drivers to meet the extra energy required for performance. This is the embodiment of the 2C3D™ effect.
