Powermatic 6 AC power distributor is designed for audiophiles seeking to enhance their system’s sonic performance without the inherent limitations of active power conditioners or the tonal imbalances caused by line noise in standard power strips. Featuring high-current-capacity, epoxy-encapsulated solid copper busbars, Powermatic provides substantial line capacitance to meet both continuous and peak demands; this ensures stable transformer operation and effortless sonic performance, even with the most power-hungry components and systems.
PowerPhase receptacle—featuring cryogenically treated, gold-plated (or optionally rhodium-plated) tellurium copper (95% copper) contacts—grips power cords more securely than any other audiophile-grade receptacle. Each outlet is discretely wired using cryogenically treated, silver-plated #12 AWG copper conductors insulated with a Teflon dielectric. To eliminate ground noise and electromagnetic interference, each outlet is constructed with an isolated ground circuit and connected discretely to an isolated ground conductor.
Powermatic 6 is a classic “anti-power conditioner,” featuring no current-regulating circuit boards, rectifiers, or switching relays that might restrict or interfere with the AC current flowing into your components. It features a universal 120/240V, 15-amp IEC inlet—including two cryogenically treated 10A/250V fuses—and rests on four isolation spikes.
