The same applies to amplifier circuits; if each stage is not selected and matched with absolute precision to work optimally with the rest of the amplifier, the result will be a sound that is blurred, unfocused, uneven, and lacking in information.

Therefore, to create a superior amplifier, the natural approach is to simplify the circuit and optimize each element so that they work together in seamless harmony. This is precisely what we have done with MEISHU Tonmeister.

New power supply uses only a single power transformer, a 5U4 rectifier tube, and a choke. When optimized, this configuration performs exceptionally well, producing a very balanced and “full” sound.

The input and driver stages closely resemble those found in the JINRO, TOMEI, and ONGAKU models, utilizing 12AU7 and 5687 tubes to drive in-house designed and manufactured interstage transformers for optimal energy transfer, uniformity, and authority. This represents the most significant and fundamental upgrade to the original design.

Output transformers for the new Meishu were designed specifically for the project by Andy Grove; it is no exaggeration to call them world-class.

The circuit is now a beautiful example of elegant simplicity—a feat made possible only by our ability to create exceptionally well-matched transformers in-house, alongside our own custom resistors, in-house manufactured foil capacitors, and custom electrolytic capacitors. These capabilities allow us to exercise extremely precise control over the amplifier’s performance and sonic character from input to output—a level of control far beyond the reach of manufacturers who must rely on off-the-shelf components.

Result is an amplifier that retains the legendary Audio Note musicality, midrange magic, and dazzling tonal character of the original Meishu, while delivering unprecedented levels of information retrieval and dynamic expression—redefining the expectations typically associated with 300B SET amplifiers.

Technical specifications

Input impedance 100k ohms, line level.

Input sensitivity of 240mV for full output.

Maximum output: 8 watts (approx.) into a 4- or 8-ohm load.

Channel balance less than 0.3 dB

Vacuum tube 1 x 5U4G

2 x 300B

2 x 5687

1 x 6SN7

1 x ECC82

1 x ECC83 (Phono models only)

1 x 6DJ8 (Phono models only)

Unit weight: 29.5 kg

Unit dimensions: 220mm (H) x 460mm (W) x 530mm (D)

Power Input AC 100-120V / 220-240V 50/60Hz

Maximum power consumption: 200W

Detail As we learned during the development of the 211 amplifier, every component in the circuit is like a lens in a microscope; it must…

[9841
10227,11110

0":"post-130258","1":"product","2":"type-product","3":"status-publish","4":"has-post-thumbnail","6":"pwb-brand-audio-note","7":"product_cat-integrated-amplifier","8":"product_cat-audio-note-integrated-amplifier","10":"first","11":"instock","12":"shipping-taxable","13":"purchasable","14":"product-type-simple
["Invalid taxonomy.
["GET
