All Triangle ART cables are made with cryogenically treated pure silver conductors. Despite the high cost of silver, we chose it because of its highest conductivity of all metals. (Common conductivity standards assign silver a value of 100, while other metals are graded according to their conductivity relative to silver.) Since silver is too soft for electrical plugs, we opted for copper, the next most conductive material, plated with rhodium. The rhodium plating is extremely hard and will not wear down even after years of repeated plugging and unplugging. This durability ensures the integrity of the protective layer covering the copper core\u2014crucial as copper is susceptible to corrosion that could reduce conductivity. In contrast, rhodium is one of the most corrosion-resistant metals, easily resisting acids, alkalis, and most chemicals. We take extreme measures to isolate signals, including using Teflon insulation. Teflon is an excellent insulator, blocking current flow even at extremely high voltages and its performance does not deteriorate at extremely high temperatures (Teflon can withstand temperatures up to 500 degrees Fahrenheit). Teflon is particularly outstanding as a wire insulator due to its smooth surface, excellent elasticity, and high flexibility. Therefore, it will not bind, pull, or abrade the internal conductor, and can be freely wound, stretched, and even bent without kinking or cracking. TriangleART wire uses a carbon fiber braided shielding layer, which is lightweight, flexible, and extremely tough, resisting abrasion, friction, shearing forces, and tensile stress.<\/p>\n
